On Stephan's 39th birthday, February 10, 2021, about 100 friends and family gathered from across the country and around the world to celebrate and commemorate his life, bridging the gaps with interpreters in 3 languages and scrambling to accommodate a fourth.
They shared stories, laughed and cried, and talked about struggles and accomplishments, and visited with each other in the break-out rooms afterwards.

NOTE: After Stephan's grandmother, Dr. Jean-Robert Bayard, died, he fulfilled his promise to publish her book "How to think if you want to change the world."
