Traffic and Pedestrian Signals in China

These photos, taken where the walk signal is visible at crosswalks in Shanghai, China, show what typically happens when the walk signal is on for pedestrians.

 photo shows a walk signal on the other side of a crosswalk about 3 lanes wide at an intersection. In the middle of the crosswalk entering the intersection are a police car and a bicyclist. photo shows the same intersection with the walk signal still on, and crossing the crosswalk are moterbikes from both directions of the street to be crossed.
